Shauna Garcia is a third-generation San Clemente resident who has called the community home since 1990, when she was brought here from the hospital as a newborn. A graduate of San Clemente High School (Class of 2008), she pursued her college education out of state and returned in 2012 with two Bachelor’s degrees.
In 2018, Shauna met her husband, Matt—also a third-generation San Clemente resident and a local business owner—at a Chamber of Commerce event. Together, they are raising their two children, Charlotte (4) and Banks (2), as the fourth generation of their family to grow up in San Clemente.
As the Executive Director of a local Chamber of Commerce, Shauna brings extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. She is deeply committed to community service and actively volunteers at events such as the Fiesta, the 2/4 Marine Corps BBQ, the San Clemente Ocean Festival, the Microbrew Festival, and many others. She is a graduate of the 2024 San Clemente Leadership Class and proudly serves on the San Clemente Beaches, Parks, and Recreation Commission for the 2024–2026 term.
Shauna is honored to serve on the Friends of San Clemente Foundation Board and looks forward to continuing her dedication to the community, her family, and her fellow residents.
